How to get to Dreadspire Keep (an idiot's guide)
I thought I would write this guide because of all the zones I've had to get to in my time, this was a tricky one. After a death, some swear words and a vodka or two, it now seems to be fairly easy!
Dreadspire Keep (DSK) is a zone off The Hive, which are both part of the Depths of Darkhollow Expansion. It is a popular zone to get to as DSK is good for grouping in and you can also access Demiplane of Blood (via a task) for raiding by clicking the right statue upon zone in. To get DSK access you have to complete the following quests, otherwise you will not be able to enter the zone!:-
I'm assuming you know how to get to The Hive, if not, the way to go is Plane of Knowledge/Nektolus Forest/Corathus Creep/Undershore/Stoneroot Falls/The Hive. You MUST get a levi before going to Stoneroot Falls as one of the zone in routes takes you into mid-air, very high up! Once in Stoneroot Falls, stay on the left wall and levi and invis around until you can drop down onto The Hive tunnel, which is connected by a bridge. Note it is the Hive zone you want, not the Hive instance. You may have to levi down slightly around an obstacle on the way if you get stuck enroute. Don't go too far down though as the zone into the Hive is high up and some mobs at the bottom see invis (trust me :p).
Ok, so you have zoned into the Hive. Look at your map:-
My route to DSK is in bright green, marked by X's for important points enroute. First of all from the zone in from Stoneroot Falls you must invis and levi. If you go slightly south of the zone in and then look towards the north west (where the red dotted line is just to the right of the zone in from Stoneroot Falls) you will see the living bridge. This is the place where most people get confused, as they do not know how to get to the living bridge or towers, which appear blocked by mountains.
The Living Bridge
ZONE IN FROM STONEROOT FALLS
Go back to the zone in and look right. You will see a huge tower, with lots of spiders coming out of it (aptly named 'the spider tower'). What you need to do is (levi and invis first) run up the right hand side of the tower which looks like a long ramp and get to the top, or as near to the top as you can. Now you need to look up to the sky using your page up key (default key). You need to look up so you don't drop altitude as you go around the mountain to levi onto the Living Bridge, marked by a green X above. Obviously check your map whilst levi-ing around the mountain. Below is the spider tower. The green X marks the place where you need to stop and then levi around the mountain to the Living Bridge.
