The runes are detailed as follows:
Minor Muramite Rune - Level 66
Lesser Muramite Rune - Level 67
Muramite Rune - Level 68
Greater Muramite Rune - Level 69
Glowing Muramite Rune - Level 70
Ancient Muramite Rune - Level 70
Level 66, 67 and 68 runes are droppable, whereas 69 and 70 runes are no drop*
This guide mainly focuses on runes up to Glowing Muramite, as the Ancient Muramites are very rare and you may need a raid force to aquire them. Please note that you will probably need a group (occasionally raid), or at the very least a few players to farm these runes (unless you are uber!). Do your own research first before attempting to kill the mobs listed.
*Note Although some of the runes are no drop, they can now be turned in by anyone which results in spells that are tradeable, therefore you can buy all of them in the Bazaar.
The ranger muramite spells are listed as follows:
66 - Displace Summoned, Shield of Briar, Nature Veil
67 - Locust Swarm, Guard of the Earth, Sylvan Water, Strength of the Hunter
68 - Hunter's Vigor, Briarcoat, Frost Wind, Tranquility of the Glade
69 - Hearth Embers, Howl of the Predator, Nature's Denial, Nature's Balance
70 - Onyx Skin, Ward of the Hunter, Call of Lightning
70 - Ancient Muramite Rune = North Wind (recast time is 30 seconds! Also not much more damage than the 68 spell frost wind)
Dranik's Hollows (Instanced Zone off Dranik's Scar)
Go to Dranik's and track Grand Historian Gersh who gives out OoW Expiditions. Request the group expidition 'Murkgliders Hive'. This one is best because it has two named's (with placeholders). One placeholder is a Hideous Rat, and his named is Scuttling Darkrat. A bit further down the maze is another placeholder, Tatterwinged Bat and his named is a Frenetic Cavebat. Both named can drop minor, lesser and normal muramite runes.
•A Fecund Murkglider (Level: 64) (spawns a number of pups, could be dangerous)
•A Feran Bull (Levels: 65 - 67)
Placeholders (PH) - There are two "a stalking feran" PH located about N590 N1092. These two placeholders are static mobs on a small ledge as you face North. The feran to the west spawns the Feran Bull about 3 times more than the one to the east. /Consider your way in, as mobs are random see invis. All mobs are on a 20 min timer and Bull can spawn on consecutive cycles. Feran Bull will quad hit between 300 - 700, summons, DoTs (unknown type), rarely has a mana drain DoT, moderate resists, but can be snared and rooted. Will drop one 66, or 67 lvl rune about 50% of time. Less commonly they drop normal (68) runes.

An excellent camp in RCoD is the Tiorpat Camp. You can farm here only if the Tiorpat event is down. The camp is at the bottom of the hill behind the statue. PHs there are: An Elite Ikaav Scorcon for Ornaia the Foul (snake lady near the bridge). Not certain if she drops muramite runes but drops some nice gear. A Dragorn Laborer is the PH for Dragorn Laborer who can be found under the trees to the east of the camp. Dragorn Laborer drops anything up to glowing. Finally up on hill the PH for Granitesmash is A Baleful Stoneworker. Granitesmash also occasionally drops a glowing rune.

MPG trials (group and raid) have also been known to drop glowing runes. Obviously as the zones you enter become higher, the more chance you have of getting greater and glowing runes. The Riftseeker's Sanctum is the best place for farming glowing runes, in a group. There are certainly more monsters than I have listed that drop the runes but it gives you an idea. If anyone knows of any other good rune farming spots, please let me know via bowandarrow@hotmail.co.uk.
